A superb highschool in the London borough of Hounslow are seeking 3 graduates to join the support staff team from September to work as Graduate teaching assistants!
Working as a teaching assistant is a great way to gain invaluable school based experience that will stand you in good stead if you are considering teaching as a future career. Each year this excellent secondary school looks to take on a small number of graduates who are eager to develop their experience in a school setting ahead of commencing teacher training.
The graduates work as graduate teaching assistants on a full time basis and gain invaluable school experience which stands them in good stead for when they commence teacher training. As a teaching assistant you will be working under the guidance of an experienced SENCo and will work closely with students. You will be working with students from years 7 - 11 in a wide range of subject areas giving you the opportunity to gain a real insight into secondary school teaching.
This excellent high school in Hounslow are looking to interview graduates who have some form of experience with young people and can commit to this school on a full time basis. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as voluntary school work, overseas teaching, sports coaching, youth work.
