Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a year 2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 3-form entry primary academy located in Hounslow
This Hounslow- based primary school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant that is skilled and confident in teaching the KS1 curriculum.
About the role:
- Help reinforce concepts for individual pupils or small groups
- Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
- Offer emotional and social support to students as needed
- Assist in developing pupils' literacy, numeracy, and overall learning skills
- Help with pupils' personal care needs if required
- Prepare teaching materials and resources for lessons
- Set up and tidy away classroom materials, equipment, and displays
- Supervise pupils during playtime, lunchtime, or on school trips
- Ensure pupils' health and safety, reporting any concerns to the teacher
- Help with marking and recording students' work
- Carry out administrative tasks like photocopying, filing, or organising displays
Requirements:
- Have experience as a teaching assistant in UK-Based schools
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum
- Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
- Must be available full-time and long-term from November
