SEMH Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Location: HounslowHours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PMSalary: Based on experience

We are seeking an experienced and caring SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in either Music or PE, and a passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in both individual and group settings.
  • Assist with the delivery of lessons and ensure the effective engagement of students.
  • Provide emotional and academic support to help students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Work alongside teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with SEMH students.
  • A background in Music or PE is highly desirable.
  • Caring, patient, and able to build strong relationships with students.
  • Looking for a long-term position with the desire to make a positive impact on studentsā€™ lives.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
