SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to present a unique and rewarding role for an experienced teaching assistant to join a dynamic 3-form entry primary school located in Hounslow. You will support a variety of students in different year groups who have different special needs (SEN) (mild- moderate needs).

Role:

  • As a teaching assistant you will provide support for students with special needs (SEN) across the school. You will work 1:1 and in small groups.
  • You will play a crucial role in providing support to a range of students with a variety of special educational needs (SEN)
  • Your role will be to facilitate the child's participation in classroom activities, promote social interaction, and support their individual learning and development.?

Requirements:

  • Be available full-time
  • Relevant experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Understanding of pre-verbal communication methods and strategies
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and the ability to adapt them to meet individual needs
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
