Tradewind is proud to partner with a college in Hounslow to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students, particularly those navigating behavioural challenges, to achieve their full potential.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide focused support to students with behavioural needs.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Support the educational and emotional development of individual learners.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students who face behavioural challenges.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Positive, patient, and team-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to helping students succeed.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience with secondary school students.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- Professional references.
Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Start Date: January 2025
- Duration: Until approximately April 2025, with a strong possibility of extension.
