Are you a Maintenance or Controls Engineer with Siemens S7 experience looking for a challenging yet rewarding role working at Heathrow Airport?

Are you looking to be recognised as the go-to technical specialist working on a range of material handling and lifting equipment for a globally recognised company?

In this days-based role you will be working on industrial lifting and material handling equipment, including conveyors, motors, and relays for example, with a heavy emphasis on PLCs and software related issues. You will be working days however there will need to be flexibility for an occasional night shift paid at a premium, roughly once a fortnight if needed.

The majority of this role will be based at Heathrow Airport (90%) with some travel to other airports required.This internationally renowned company were founded in the 1940's and boast a huge presence within the automotive, retail, and airport industries. They pride themselves on their staff retention and progression of employees into senior roles, looking to continue their organic growth for years to come.This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer with Siemens controls experience looking to join an established, reputable company offering a technically challenging and varied role working primarily within Heathrow Airport.The Role:

  • Working on controls for cargo handling equipment using Siemens S7
  • Editing PLCs, reviewing electrical schematics, and solving software issues
  • Performing hands-on maintenance on material handling equipment
  • 90% based in Heathrow Airport, some travel to other airports required
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30/8:30am start, 3:30/4:30pm finish, flexibility to work occasional nights
  • Overtime paid at 1.3x, weekends 1.5x
