What You’ll Be Doing:
- Electrical Maintenance: Keep operations running smoothly across multiple sites with electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Apply your expertise to troubleshoot and improve systems, processes, and efficiency.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with other departments, communicating effectively to ensure seamless operations.
- Proactive Maintenance: Stay ahead of issues by performing routine checks, fault finding, and repairs before problems arise, keeping downtime to a minimum.
- Maximise Production Efficiency: Your role is key in driving the efficiency of the production unit, improving performance, and supporting the long-term success of the business.
What You Need:
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer (preferably in the food industry).
- Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications (minimum NVQ or equivalent).
- Problem-Solving Skills: A hands-on approach with the ability to tackle issues quickly and effectively.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of H&S practices and regulations.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with teams and liaise with clients.
- Attention to Detail: You’ll be highly data-driven and meticulous in tracking and implementing improvements.
