Signet are working exclusively to recruit a Finance Manager to help drive the financial operations with responsibility for all financial accounting and finance systems.
Key Responsibilities will include
- Management of purchase ledger, payroll and revenue accounting (rent and service charges)
- Manage monthly ledger close process, including ensuring journals and reconciliations are completed
- Lead on preparation of annual statutory accounts, including financial statements and associated notes
- Lead on external audit
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Lead on rent accounting
- Lead on arrears reporting
- Lead on service charge accounting
- Submission of regulatory returns
- Oversee the monthly payroll process
To Succeed in the role
- ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Financial Accounting experience including statutory statement and FRS 102 (Housing SORP beneficial but not essential)
- Previous experience of working in a regulatory environment highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills will be needed to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Good all round business accumen and an understanding of the role of the Finance department in adding value to operational decision making.
