We are actively seeking an airfreightoperations specialist who strives to deliver high quality outcomes and is looking for a new opportunity, with a view to grow in our company. The operations staff, control shipments from door to door during import and export air freight procedures.

Ideally have both Import and Exports, however will train on one if has the other. Air is essential.

Duties will include:

  • Managing agents and customers directly.
  • Liaising with customers for every aspect of their shipment.
  • Finding solutions by Air, Road & Sea for highly regulated shipments.
  • Making export airline bookings with airlines.
  • Tracking shipments and providing updates.
  • Customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing in a timely manner.
  • Collection and delivery of freight
  • Assisting with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing and other tasks from time to time.
  • Handling/Lifting packages up to 30kg

The successful applicant:

  • Knowledge of Airfreight Operations Import/ Export with a Freight Forwarder.
  • DG accredited would be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy MS Word, MS Excel and Gmail.
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as working within a team environment.

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Salary depends on experience.
