My client is seeking an experienced CARGO OPERATIONS CLERK to join their growing team based at Heathrow.
The role involves managing imports and exports, handling specialist shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Candidates should have previous import/export and cargo or freight forwarding experience, along with good admin and customer service skills.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 per year and requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Successful applicants will undergo a full 5-year employment check to CAA standards and must provide up-to-date right to work documents.

My clients seeking an experienced CARGO OPERATIONS CLERK to join their growing team based at Heathrow.

Duties would include:

Dealing with both imports and exports
Liaising with customers on a daily basis
Handling specialist shipments including DG, high valuable, radioactive and live animals
Ensuring all documentation is correct and completed with each shipment
Liaising with the warehouse staff / drivers
Working on reception when needed

Skills required:

Previous import/export experience
Cargo or freight forwarding experience is essential
PC literate
Good admin skills
Import/ export knowledge
Good customer service skills

Working hours:

4 on 4 off; 2days - 0700-1900 2nights 1900-0700

Successful candidates will have a full 5 year employment check carried out to CAA standards, a criminal record check and all right to work documents must be supplied and up to date.
