Role: Logistics Administration
Location: Hounslow
Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 till 14:00
We are recruiting a Logistics Administration for one of clients based in Hounslow.
Key Responsibilities of the Administration Officer:
- Delivery requests
- Supplier shipments
- Invoicing
- Learn the bespoke clients’ systems required to fulfil the role.
- Ensure a smooth and timely process for goods in and out, including prioritising urgent requests as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost and capture knowledge.
- General administration duties for the test team for example:
- Ordering uniform
- Ordering general supplies
- Updating the organisation chart
- Minutes notation
- Demonstrate that part logistics are being managed in accordance with the section KPI’s.
- Ensure a strong relationship with service providers is maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times to support NTCE projects.
Experience:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive ‘can do’ flexible attitude.
- Be able to manage and prioritise own workload.
- A good working knowledge of the Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc) for report writing.
Qualifications:
- Ideally a strong background in logistics.
- Experience of a busy office environment.
- 3+ years administration background.
- Ideally educated to a good GCSE level with grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
