Class 1 Nights

Vortex Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Class 1 driver to join our client in Heathrow.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety
• Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and mileage driven
• Adhere to all transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Plan routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel usage
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to provide updates on delivery status
• Driving depot to depot no handball involved.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any client concerns during delivery.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's license and a clean driving record
• Minimum of 6monthsof experience in truck driving or related field
• Strong knowledge of transportation and safety regulations
• Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
