Commercial Clerk

Project: Heathrow H7 (London, UK)

Location: Heathrow Airport

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support managing QS & Commercial manager
  • Processing of labour & agency subcontractor payments
  • Processing of plant & operator subcontractor payments
  • validating material / tipping dockets for subcontractors payment
  • Updating project cost control sheets
  • Maintaining a consolidated tracker of billing for directly employed operatives
  • raising credit for labour, agency and plant subcontractors
  • assisting the quantity surveyors with administrative duties
  • uploading information to Asite, the common data environment
  • Updating subcontractor trackers and other trackers
  • Track PO values for commercial team, liaising with the finance team & advising QS' if uplift is required

Skills

  • Proficient in excel & other Microsoft packages.
  • Be able to handle all matters discretely and with confidentiality.

Experience

  • Have held a similar role in the construction industry
