My client are seeking severalskilled Pipefitter to join theirteam. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various settings. The Pipefitter will be responsible for ensuring that all piping systems operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
- To repair and install commercial heating parts to communal dwellings
- Repair and maintain pipework, re pipe as required
- Replacing thermostatic valves, circulation pumps and radiators and associated control within the dwellings.
- Excellent communication between the tenant and yourself to ensure they are kept up to date with any repairs that are being carried out
- Willing to work on call out as part of a team rota
- Manage your van stock correctly and ensure all relevant paperwork is being submitted to replenish stock and ensuring first time fix where possible
- Ensuring mobile PDA device is used correctly all times and faults reported quickly to your supervisor/ manager
- And any other duties that may be reasonably be requested by the contract manager
Experience
- Must have previous experience working as a commercial heating wet worker
- Good knowledge of communal heating plant
- City and guilds lever 2 or 3 in plumbing
