Our client is seeking a diligent and skilled ER Advisor to join their Human Resources team. Working in a fast paced and collaborative team, you'll be the ER specialist managing case work for the front line workforce and supporting line managers with advice and guidance.

Our client is a global business in the Aviation, Transport & Distribution industry, with this role supporting a workforce of 1000 dedicated employees. Based near Heathrow, this company is recognised for its commitment to excellence and is a leader in services to Aviation and Transport.

Please note, this role is working on site 4 days per week based near Heathrow.

Description

  • Managing a variety of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and absence
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on ER matters to managers and employees
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Ensuring all ER activities are compliant with employment law and regulations
  • Liaising with Trade Unions and managing TU relationships
  • Analyse key data to use trends across absence, sickness and retention in strategic decision making
  • Collaborating with the wider HR business partnering team on projects and initiatives

Profile

A successful ER Advisor should have:

  • Previous experience in ER with evidence of managing your own case load (Circa 20 with this role)
  • Trade Union experience is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail
