Our client, an industry leading organisation which provides award winning, time critical freight forwarding & logistics solutions, are recruiting for an Inside Sales Executive to be based at offices in the London Heathrow area.

TheMain Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Executive is responsible for growing revenuewithcustomers requesting One Day Quotes (ODQs) and cold calling dormant customer accounts who have not traded with the company in the last twelve months.

Duties & Responsibilities Related to:

  • One Day Quote Management (ODQ)
  • Quote Log Quality and Compliance Management
  • Account Management Support
  • Contract Management
  • Price Administration

Key Skills and Attributes Required to Be Considered:

  • Have experience gathering supplier costs and producing quotes within the aerospace logistics industry through previous operational or inside sales positions. Experience within a time critical logistics / freight forwarding environment will also be considered.
  • Proven understanding of AOG services vs. critical and routine services
  • Work pro-actively using own initiative.
  • Proven communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience dealing with the varied customer base and building strong relations
  • Possess appropriate IT skills.
  • Cargowise experience
  • Excellent process and planning skills.
  • Be persistent, tenacious, and determined to win new business.
  • Strong commercial awareness - understands the impact of actions.
