Pay Range/details: £30,000 to £54,000 per annum

Omega are currently supporting a well-renowned Infrastructure Control Systems expert in their search for a Site Electrician within the control system industry. You are not expected to have experience in all these areas and for the right candidate on the job training and mentoring will be provided to fill any skills gaps you may have.

This is a field-based role covering the different sites throughout UK and would be suited for someone with a flexible approach to travelling and working away from home. There is a potential to work a mix of days and nights whilst working on site dependent upon the project and client site access availability.

Key Responsibilities – Site Electrician

  • Checking installation of equipment is to the correct standard prior to starting testing.
  • Performing testing of a system according to installation and commissioning test document.
  • Field device set-up
  • Perform site acceptance tests, fault find and correct any wiring issues.
  • Perform client testing according to test documents.
  • Produce documentation such as RAM's; test documentation; weekly progress reports etc.

Qualifications & Requirements – Site Electrician

  • Qualified to HND level or above in electrical or control engineering.
  • 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting.
  • Aptitude for diagnosing electrical issues and developing effective solutions.
