This H&S role is based in Hounslow, Middlesex with travel to other sites all around the West London / Middlesex area.

Salary circa £55,000 plus excellent benefits including generous holiday allowance, healthcare services, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, pension, death in service benefit, free gym membership and other staff discounts.

So what's the role?

  • Develop and deliver the strategy for Health, Safety and Compliance in the organisation, in collaboration with senior management
  • Review, update and maintain all policy and procedures, keeping abreast of all changing legislation
  • Conducting regular audits and site inspections, highlighting any issues and creating action plans (plus making sure they're followed through!)
  • Deliver training to staff, guidance to managers, and be the liaison with regulatory bodies, auditors, local authority and other external parties

What do I need?

  • NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent level Health & Safety qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of HSE legislation and regulation, and industry best practice
  • Skilled and designing and delivering HSE training
  • Confident in conducting audits and inspections, risk assessments, investigations, etc.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing industry such as leisure, entertainment, retail, hospitality, or similar
