Job Overview
We are an independent pub group and are currently recruiting for a General Manager role for our site in Hounslow West London formerly The Sun Pub. This is a very exciting opportunity as the site is undergoing a major refurbishment and we are looking for the perfect candidate to relaunch the premises under a new concept mid April.

It is a wet led venue with kitchen franchisee operation showing all sports with entertainment and events, we are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to bring fresh, innovative ideas and ultimately drive sales. We are offering a commission-based salary and live-in accommodation. The ideal candidate(s) will have a proven track record in managing and leading a team in a wet led public house, and will be responsible for venue events to drive turnover. They will be proficient in stock management, budgeting, P&L control, staff management to include hiring & venue marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of pub operations, including staffing, stock management, and customer service
  • Developing and implementing new strategies & events to increase sales and profitability
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Managing budgets and financial reports
  • Training and mentoring staff members to reach their full potential
  • Managing the drink service and event planning
  • Keeping the workplace clean and tidy

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 year's experience as a pub manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A 'can do' attitude and ability to work on own initiative
  • An outgoing and friendly personality
  • Be a creative and forward thinking individual that will drive the business forward
