We are looking for a Programme Manager for an initial 6 month contract, the Programme Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing IT governance frameworks and optimising workflows that support the strategic objectives of the IT Director, and the broader IT department. This role is critical in establishing and enforcing governance policies, managing risk, and streamlining processes to drive efficiency and compliance. By promoting cross-departmental collaboration, the position ensures that IT activities align with the organisation's technology roadmap, contributing directly to the overall business strategy.

  • Develop and maintain IT governance frameworks to support decision-making, compliance, and risk management within the IT department, aligning policies with IT strategy and organisational objectives.
  • Analyse and optimise IT workflows using data analytics and process mining techniques, identifying areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency, reduce redundancies, and integrate workflows across departments.
  • Implement best practices in workflow management, leveraging methodologies such as ITIL, Lean, or Six Sigma to improve process effectiveness and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance principles, with experience implementing frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, or ITIL to ensure compliance and efficient governance practices.
  • Proficiency in designing and optimizing IT workflows using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant approaches to enhance operational efficiency and process effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience developing and tracking KPIs related to governance, risk, and IT process performance, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Expertise in managing complex IT projects and programs, demonstrating a deep understanding of IT service management principles, while effectively driving change management and ensuring the sustainable adoption of governance and workflow improvements.

Hybrid working 2-3 days a week in the office in Hounslow
