An Operations Manager position is available with a Medium Freight Forwarder located near Heathrow.
The ideal candidate should possess solid experience in the logistics industry, preferably with a background in freight forwarding.
Key responsibilities include managing daily freight operations, leading the Import/Export team, and liaising with various stakeholders.
The role offers a competitive salary of approximately £39,000 along with additional perks.
Candidates should ideally have experience in a supervisory role and be prepared to work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

We have an exciting oppotunity for a Operations Manager to join a Medium Freight Forwarder based near Heathrow.

This role is required to work together with the management team to manage the whole operation of the company.The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing daily Export/Import/Cross-trade freight forwarding operations including customs formalities for modalities - Air, Sea & Road Freight. - Managing & leading Import/Export team. - Liaising with Warehouse team members, Handling agents, Transporters, Customs, Overseas Offices/Agents, Shipping lines & Airlines. - Solve & support operational problems pro-actively for all day-to-day jobs within the Operations department. - Managing invoicing procedures towards our customers. - Seek work efficiency of Operations department.

Key Skills:

- Solid back ground experience in the freight forwarding industry. - Leadership skills. - Innovative, plan-ahead & team working attitude. - Be able to demonstrate a good level of work efficiency and accuracy. - Someone who enjoys working in a team and can cooperate well with other team members. - Professional customer service skills. - Commercial awareness, understanding of basic profit/loss.
