Planning Manager
West London
Permanent Position
60,000- 70,000 Per Annum
TRS are working with a leading construction contractor who work on a number of projects across the UK, they are currently recruiting for a Planning Manager to join their team in West London on a permanent basis.
About you

  • You will have previous experience of working in as a Planner on large scale projects within a Tier 1-2 Contractor.
  • You will have previous experience managing teams.
  • You will have Experience previously in developing design, civil work, procurement, testing, handover processes and commissioning
  • You will have a strong P6 background with knowledge of the resource loading process and the cost.

Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for a variety tasks which include:

  • Leading the planning team on a day to day basis, chairing meetings and keeping up to date with their performance.
  • Supporting Senior managers with a variety of projects in order to update the monthly Reporting Baseline and Progress programs that include Narrative, critical path and Project Performance.
  • Liaising with all parties involved in the progress process (Section Leads, commercials, Planners etc.) to ensure that the programmes are in place
  • Ensuring and managing earned value management.
