Job Opportunity: Trade Counter Assistant/DriverLocation: HounslowContract Type: Full-time, Permanent

• Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (42.5 hours per week)
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (half day)

Starting Salary: £25,282.40 per annumAdditional Pay: Monthly performance-related bonusReporting to: Branch Manager

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Trade Counter Assistant/Driver to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude. You will need to:

• Have at least 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
• Hold a clean, full UK driving licence (essential)
• Be comfortable driving a 3.5t Mercedes Sprinter van for deliveries
• Be familiar with working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Have a basic understanding of stock management and warehouse duties
• Be physically capable of handling materials and goods
• Be a team player with a positive attitude toward customer service and teamwork

As a Trade Counter Assistant/Driver, you will be responsible for a mix of warehouse, driving, and customer service tasks. Your core duties will include:

• Customer Service:
  • Engaging with customers face-to-face at the trade counter, providing product advice, and handling transactions
  • Ensuring all customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately
• Warehouse Operations:
  • Performing stock checks and managing stock levels
  • Picking and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring correct packaging and labeling
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
• Delivery Duties:
  • Driving a 3.5t Mercedes Sprinter van to deliver orders to customers across the local area
  • Ensuring timely and safe delivery of products
  • Communicating with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays

• A clean driving record and experience with driving commercial vehicles
