Food & Textiles Teacher- Hounslow- April Start- QTS- Part time
We are currently looking for a part-time Secondary Teacher of Technology ( Food Tech & Textiles) to join our Ofsted Outstanding Secondary School in Hounslow starting in April.
The role is 0.8 - 4 days per week, with full-time also being considered. The ideal candidate will be able to teach key stages 3, 4, and 5 and must have previous experience teaching food and textiles (product design experience would also be beneficial).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in food technology and textiles to students in key stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that aligns with the school's ethos of providing a holistic education.
- Support students in their academic and personal development, ensuring each individual receives the necessary guidance and encouragement to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities that enhance the overall learning experience for students. Requirements:
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching food technology and textiles at key stages 3, 4, and 5 Desirable:
- Experience in teaching product design
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
