We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team, inspiring students to excel in Science and develop a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and possibly Key Stage 5 students.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student progress and participation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Science Department to develop innovative resources and teaching strategies.
  • Monitor student progress, providing effective feedback and support to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4 essential; Key Stage 5 desirable).
  • A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a creative approach to lesson planning.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A passion for science and the ability to inspire young people to develop a lifelong interest in the subject.
