Support Worker Needed in Hounslow
Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for Support Worker to join our clients supported living service. This supported living service cares for those with mental health conditions from Learning Disabilities, Autism, Alcohol and Substance misuse.
Support Worker vacancy details:
- £12.50 - £17.00 per hour (Depending on NVQs, Experience and Driving Licence)
- Full time contract.
- Permanent contract.
- Day shifts available.
- 8pm - 8am start and finish times
Support Worker Must Haves:
- NVQ Qualifications are preferred but not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
- Experience within a care setting for at least 1 year is essential.
- Experience within a mental health setting (supported living, care home or hospital) is preferred.
Support Worker main duties:
- providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care
- providing emotional support for an individual and their families
- supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks, or administering medication
- encouraging and supporting the development of new skills
- teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills
- working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all support meets the highest possible standards.
- helping people take part in activities they enjoy
