Exciting opportunity alert! We're looking for a dynamic Housing Performance Manager to lead a transformative performance management programme for a local authority in Hounslow, London. In this full-time temporary role, you'll drive continuous improvement in housing services, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations while enhancing tenant experiences - all while enjoying a competitive hourly rate and a supportive working environment!
Purpose of the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development, delivery, and implementation of a performance management programme, utilising rigorous analysis of statutory and regulatory housing data. Your work will ensure compliance with the new Social Housing Regulation Act 2023 while striving for continuous improvement in service delivery.
You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of local authority housing services-including homelessness, allocations, maintenance, and repairs-to enhance tenant experiences and ensure high-quality housing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management, planning, and coordination of tenant satisfaction performance recording and reporting activities.
- Develop action plans based on evidence gathered from data, aiming to deliver exceptional outcomes within tight timelines and budgets.
- Establish innovative approaches to performance, quality assurance, and audit trails, setting clear objectives and performance targets.
- Line-manage a Housing Improvement Analyst and support two Housing Performance Assistants, fostering a motivated and high-performing team.
- Prepare formal reports and presentations for stakeholders, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation for audit purposes.
- Monitor resources, including budgets and ICT, ensuring data integrity and security across all projects and services.
- Proactively identify potential issues and risks, implementing strategies to prevent or resolve them effectively.
- Engage with tenants and residents to gather insights and feedback, ensuring their voices are considered in service improvements.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in performance management and improvement, with a strong background in data analysis and project management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Knowledge of local authority housing services and compliance requirements, particularly the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023.
- Proficiency in ICT data retrieval and statistical analysis, with a keen eye for quality assurance and audit readiness.
- Experience in budget management and risk management, with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
