Academics e are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at this lovely, thriving 3 form entry primary school in Hounslow. This full-time, term-time only position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an inclusive educational environment where every child is valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with ASD, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
  • Support pupils with their social and emotional development, helping them to build confidence and independence.
  • Assist in creating a positive, engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Monitor and track progress, providing feedback and reports as needed.
  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant in this Hounslow school you will support and a range of pupil.

The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and an understanding of their unique needs.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs, such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar or school based experience.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
