About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). In this role, you will work closely with individual students to help them engage with the curriculum, overcome barriers to learning, and build confidence in their abilities. You will play a vital part in supporting their academic progress, personal development, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalised, one-on-one support to SEN students, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all students.
  • Support students in developing their social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
  • Help students develop strategies to manage their learning and overcome challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to ensure a cohesive and effective support plan.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and contribute to regular reviews.
About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Empathetic and patient with a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
