Exciting Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Hounslow
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in education? A fantastic opportunity has become available for a committed SENTeaching Assistant to join a dynamic school in Hounslow. This full-time role starts immediately and will continue throughout the academic year.
Role Overview:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in:
- Providing tailored support to small groups and one-on-one assistance to students with diverse abilities and needs.
- Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, helping to develop their literacy, numeracy, behaviour, and social skills.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a classroom or educational setting.
- A solid understanding of child development and the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages and abilities.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Certificate) is desirable but not essential.
Requirements:To join this vibrant school community, you must:
- Hold a degree (or equivalent qualification).
- Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be willing to obtain one).
- Provide Overseas Police Clearances if applicable.
- Undergo professional reference checks.
- Ensure your CV reflects the last 10 years of employment history, where possible.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
