SEN Teaching Assistant | Hounslow (TW14) | £90 - £105 per day | September start

We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant partner primary school located in the Hounslow area. This highly rewarding role presents an opportunity to make a real contribution to the lives of children looking to make the best start in life. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis ASAP, for the right candidate this can progress from long-term to permanent position. The school pride themselves on their creative approach to infant education.

As part of this role, you will be expected to:

  • Assist in creating and adapting teaching resources and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students in the class.
  • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and organizing the classroom environment.
  • Plan and lead engaging interventions for KS2 pupils and supporting them to achieve their key learning targets.
  • Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree.
  • Have at least one year's experience supporting primary school pupils.
  • Have experience leading group and 1:1 interventions.
