SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of caring and vibrant1-form entry school in the heart of Chiswick- a small school with a big heart!?The school is located just a short stroll down the River Thames and has good transport links.

The school is looking for a confident and committed teaching assistant who is experienced with Autism to join their close- knit school community.?

The role will be to support a boy in year 1 with Autism. The child can communicate verbally and has been making good progress socially and communicate wise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support for a child with Autism
  • Work with the class teacher to adapt learning materials to meet the needs of the child
  • Monitor the progress of the child and provide regular feedback to the class teacher?
  • Carry out other teaching assistant duties as required

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a primary school or with children, preferably as a teaching assistant
  • Experience supporting children with special needs/autism is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A passion for working with children
