Job Opportunity: Full-Time Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is partnering with a college in the borough of Hounslow, seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant to join their team on a full time basis (5 days per week) 8:45 AM to 4:40 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students, particularly those with behavioural challenges.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Support individual students' educational and emotional growth.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with students who have behavioural difficulties.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive, patient attitude, committed to helping students succeed.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working with secondary school students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
  • Professional reference checks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Hours: 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) (subject to change) 8:45 AM to 4:40 PM.
