An opportunity for an experienced housing surveyor to contribute to the effective repair, maintenance, improvement of Void properties.

Specification:

  • Contractor management
  • Good use of excel and other systems
  • Good cost management inc Schedule of rates knowledge
  • Takes ownership of work area and contributes to service improvement
  • Good liaison skills with Housing Management and other colleagues.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality housing surveying services in line with the policies and procedures.
  • Manage specific work streams, including disrepair, estate improvement, asbestos management, minor works, or reactive and planned repairs.
  • Execute an effective responsive repair, planned maintenance, and project management service to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Take the lead in key areas of responsibility, mentoring and coaching other team members to enhance overall team effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housing surveying with a strong understanding of repair and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead and coach team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
