An opportunity for an experienced housing surveyor to contribute to the effective repair, maintenance, improvement of Void properties.
Specification:
- Contractor management
- Good use of excel and other systems
- Good cost management inc Schedule of rates knowledge
- Takes ownership of work area and contributes to service improvement
- Good liaison skills with Housing Management and other colleagues.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality housing surveying services in line with the policies and procedures.
- Manage specific work streams, including disrepair, estate improvement, asbestos management, minor works, or reactive and planned repairs.
- Execute an effective responsive repair, planned maintenance, and project management service to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Take the lead in key areas of responsibility, mentoring and coaching other team members to enhance overall team effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housing surveying with a strong understanding of repair and maintenance processes.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead and coach team members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
