Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join our team at Heathrow. This is a static role with responsibility for maintaining two depots located opposite each other. The successful candidate will need to perform a variety of basic fabric maintenance tasks and work independently, with occasional lone working required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general fabric maintenance tasks including minor repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure the upkeep and functionality of fabric elements across both depots.
- Manage the maintenance of premises, including basic building repairs, fixtures, and fittings.
- Regular inspections to identify and address any fabric-related issues.
- Work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Communicate regularly with the management team and other key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience in fabric maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working alone and managing your own workload.
- Full UK driving license (van provided for the role).
- Ability to handle basic building repairs and maintenance tasks.
