Location: Heathrow
Hours: Monday to Friday
Annual Salary: 60,000

My client, a market leading Heavy Commercial Fleet Maintainer with depots across the UK is actively seeking to employ a fully skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager for their purpose built maintenance facility based in the Heathrow area.
Job Summary:
  • Manage the contractual relationship to ensure SLAs achieved
  • Approve maintenance work by the supplier up to the approved amount against advised work statement and specification provided by supplier
  • Agree the maintenance work schedules provided by supplier and act as co-ordination point for availability
  • Monitor all work (work in progress) scheduled by the supplier ensuring compliance to SLA's
  • Audit work completed by the supplier to ensure work has been completed to the company standards
  • Agree technical / structure modifications and upgrades of equipment
  • Approve invoices, query any anomalies and resolve with the supplier if necessary
  • Assist specification and purchase of new equipment for LHR/LGW
  • Ensure vehicle Airside and DVLA licences are compliant
  • Management of the pinnacle system to ensure its operation at all times
  • To undertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the post
  • Promote at all times the Vision, Mission, Values of the company
JobRequirements:
  • To manage the performance with nominated suppliers to ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced in accordance with the OEM guidelines keeping within required SLA's
  • Provide technical oversight of work performed by suppliers
  • Provide process leadership in enhancing FM activities
  • Controlling costs in accordance with budget and keeping in line with monetary control
  • Verifying supplier invoices to ensure the appropriate costs are charged and challenged if necessary
The ideal candidate will be someone who has managed workshops and engineers, who has worked as an engineer previously.
