HGV Technician

**HGV Technician wanted in Heathrow** (Day Shift) - Bennett and Game are currently working with a client with multiple offices across the South of the UK. They are currently looking for an HGV Technician. As a business they pride themselves on they provide a wide range of services, including vehicle servicing, truck, and van sales, DAFaid assistance, parts sales, and electric vehicle sales. With consultancy services that are unmatched in the industry .

• You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
• You'll work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
• You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

• A broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products.
• An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
• You will be required to provide your own tool-kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence

• start at 17.50 per hour but would be negotiable based on experience
• Day shift rotating - Monday to Friday
• 00 through to 2.30 pm with half hour unpaid meal break
• 00pm through to 10.30 pm with a half hour unpaid meal break

• over basic hours of 45- or 50-hour weeks but this would be at the flat hourly rate - (This is because they cannot guarantee overtime and some staff prefer to earn a higher wage for the hours at basic)

• This rotating shift benefits from a shift attendance allowance of 16.oo per day 80 per week on top of the basic salary
