Your new roleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our fulfilment team as a Fulfilment & Quality Control Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products before they are shipped to customers, performing quality checks on prescription eyewear, cleaning, and packing non-prescription items. You will also support the team during busy periods by ensuring orders are efficiently packed and shipped on time.You will be required to, but not limited to:Perform quality control checks on eyewear fitted with prescription lenses, ensuring that all products meet our high standards before shipping.Inspect for defects such as scratches, misalignments, or incorrect lens prescriptions and clean eyewear to ensure it arrives in pristine condition to the customer.Pack and prepare non-prescription eyewear and accessories for shipment as well as maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a smooth workflow.Collaborate with the fulfilment team and assist with various tasks during peak periods and ensure all products are packed securely and labelled correctly for shipment.Help maintain stock accuracy by keeping track of packaging materials and supplies.
What you'll need to succeedAttention to detail is essential, as quality control is a critical aspect of this role, as well as a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.The ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a friendly, supportive environment.Previous experience in a fulfilment, warehouse, or quality control role is desirable, but not essential as the client are willing to consider candidates who show potential and have a strong work ethic.The ability to manage time effectively and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines, especially during busy periods. Good communication skills and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
