Warehouse Operative / Van Driver

Part-time (3 days a week)

Working Hours: Driving: 7:30 - 16:30; Warehouse: 08:00- 17:00 (plus overtime)

I am seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join my client based in the Hounslow area. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities within the Greater London area. The ideal candidate will have a steady work history, a full UK driving licence, and experience in warehouse operations. A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

Perform collections and deliveries across the Greater London area.
Load and unload delivery vehicles manually or using a forklift truck.
Check for damaged or missing items and sort stock for storage in the warehouse.
Accurately label goods and store them in the appropriate space.
Maintain precise records on the warehouse management system to ensure quick location of stock.
Optionally operate a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure products are stored safely.
Manage bookings of goods in and out of the warehouse.
Pick orders and pack them securely.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
Adhere to strict health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Full UK driving licence (maximum 2 points).
Previous warehouse experience.
Forklift licence (optional but advantageous).
Physical fitness is essential due to the nature of the job involving heavy lifting.
