We are a leading accountancy firm under new leadership, currently seeking a talented and motivated Accounts & Audit Senior to join our team. Your role will help strengthen our presence in Sussex and across the UK as we provide a wide range of services to the Media, Retail, IT, and Services industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance on accounting and tax matters to clients.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support the training and development of junior staff members.
  • Stay informed on changes in accounting regulations and industry trend
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service.

 Requirements:

  • Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, AAT) or finalist / part qualified 
  • At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy firm.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • IT literate
