- To take responsibility for the quality, integrity and timeliness of financial control and reporting
- Preparing monthly management accounts and analysis
- Handling FCA/RMAR returns
- Managing end-to end financial processes
- Prepare annual budget and monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts
- Investigate and report monthly actual results vs. budget and forecast variances
- Provide monthly informed analysis, reports and commentary to all levels of management team and CEO
- Take control of system Integration & Process Improvement to drive optimisation, system connectivity, and cost-efficiency
- Recognised professional accounting qualification
- Strong background within the insurance industry (is a must)
- An appropriate level of accounting experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAGE , Xero,
- Management and financial accounting responsibilities for overseas subsidiaries
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and across departments, understanding the nuances of working within a regulated FCA environment.
