Join a leading electronics manufacturing company as an Accounts Assistant and play a vital role in the accurate and efficient management of our financial records. This position involves a variety of tasks including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and contributing to the smooth operation of our accounts payable and receivable functions.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements and chase for outstanding invoices.
  • Invoice Processing: Process accounts payable invoices, including scanning, printing, stamping, saving, and entering into the finance system.
  • Fixed Assets: Assist with the fixed assets reconciliation, updating the FAR spreadsheet, and filing FAR invoices.
  • Payment Processing: Process accounts payable and receivable payments within the system.
  • General Ledger Support: Assist with general ledger journal processing and other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Month End Assistance: Provide support during month-end closing processes.
  • Supplier Updates: Check and update supplier details.
  • Reporting: Perform routine checks on the aged payables and receivables reports.
  • Payment Support: Assist with the preparation of supplier payments.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake any other ad hoc accounts related tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Strong skills in Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software.
