A well respected employer are looking to recruit a Part Time Accounts Assistant to work in their Hove office 3 days per week.
Description
As Part Time Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Managing the general accounts and supporting Finance Manager
- Setting up new accounts for suppliers
- Checking & processing purchase invoices.
- Making sure purchasing invoices and payment requests are correctly calculated, approved, and coded
- Checking monthly statements
- Assisting with end of month reporting, ensuring invoices and credits are regularly checked and cleared down, queries logged are investigated
- Preparation of urgent payment requests
- Covering other aspects finance department
Profile
- AAT or QBE
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong organisational and multitasking
- Accuracy and high attention to details
- Ability to work well within a team, as independently
- 3 days per week in the office, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday
Job Offer
£25-27,000 FTE DOE
3 days per week
