A growing SME based in Hove are looking to expand their in house finance function by recruiting a Part Time Senior Accounts Assistant.
Description
As Part Time Senior Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provide day-to-day control over the company's financial operations, ensuring efficient and compliant processes
- Prepare financial reports for Directors and Senior Management, including monthly management accounts and analysis
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Prepare and review sales invoices
- Take a proactive role in credit control, ensuring timely payments
- Support the production of annual budgets and regular financial forecasts
- Oversee bank reconciliations and the input of purchase invoices and credit card receipts
- Supervise the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments
- Manage the payroll function in collaboration with the Finance Director
- Implement and maintain financial controls to support business growth
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making across the business
Profile
- AAT / QBE / PQ CIMA / PQ ACCA / Stop Studier
- Excel and accounting software
- 4 days per week, either 8:30-5:00 or 9:00-5:30
