As a Support Services Manager, you will work 22.5 hours per week, where you will be responsible for ensuring the services facilities are fit for purpose, regularly conduct audits to identify and repair any faults. Plan and respond to Planned Preventative Maintenance and emergency calls.
As the Support Services Manager you will be an active member of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the Registered Manager, and work alongside an established team. You will be managing the operation of support services for the site, including catering, housekeeping, maintenance, administration and reception function.
You will be responsible for all maintenance-related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service and have a proven background with maintenance in similar industries/healthcare settings.
As a Support Services Manager you will be:
- Managing the operation of support services for the site, including the catering, housekeeping, maintenance, administration, and reception functions. The role holder is a member of the unit’s Senior Management Team.
- Being directly responsible for Estates, Finance and Security and ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements (including national regulations and inspection standards relevant to core functions, e.g. health and safety, food hygiene, environmental health, etc).
- Being responsible for ensuring the hospital delivers the highest quality of non-clinical care, whilst meeting the regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that audits and their actions plans are completed within company timelines
- Management of all departments HR procedures, in terms of holiday, sickness, supervision, training & appraisals.
- Liaising with the Dietician and ensure that the menu and patient meal plans are reviewed regularly, and the recipe are as prescribed to meet the calorific requirements
- As part of the senior management team, you will be involved in monthly Clinical Governance meeting and expected to work closely with the Ward, School & MDT team to ensure that the hospital is compliant with Company policies & legislation.
- Assuming overall responsibility for maintaining high standards within the internal and external environment and taking the lead for Health and Safety within the hospitals.

Combining the NICE guidelines recommended therapies, the service creates bespoke programmes that provide person-centred care to support each person’s physical, medical and mental health needs. Young people will participate in psycho-education to support their care plans, and are given the opportunity to engage in therapeutic programmes such as mindfulness, family and trauma therapy
