Job Scope:

We are recruiting a dedicated Chef with expertise in food preparation within a residential care home setting. The Chef will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring that meals meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves overseeing all aspects of food preparation and production, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, and ensuring an organized and clean kitchen environment.

Additionally, the Chef will manage inventory levels and place supply orders as needed, supporting smooth kitchen operations. As a vital part of the team, the Chef will also train new kitchen staff in food preparation, safety protocols, and operational procedures, consistently monitoring food quality and presentation to ensure a superior dining experience for residents.

Do you have?

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a residential care home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Skilled in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about culinary arts, committed to delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Chef or in cooking.
  • Valid driving license.
