The nursery prides itself on creating a secure, engaging, and joyful setting where children can discover, learn, and develop. The nursery is renowned for their friendly, inviting environment and their steadfast commitment to excellent early childhood education. The nursery is open all year round, except for over Christmas, and cares for babies and children from 0 to 5 years old. The nursery is a relatively small nursery that has just over 50 places for children. The nursery setting is rated 'Good' on Ofsted. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate nursery manager to lead our team and continue our tradition of excellence. Your new roleAs the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of our nursery. Your key responsibilities will include:Leadership & Management:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate the nursery team to provide exceptional care and education.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development.
Curriculum & Planning:
- Oversee the implementation of a high-quality early years' curriculum.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring individual learning plans are followed.
Parental Engagement:
- Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development.
- Organise parent meetings, events, and workshops to enhance parental involvement.
Operational Management:
- Manage nursery budgets, resources, and facilities effectively.
- Ensure the nursery is a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
What you'll need to succeed
- Recognised early years' qualification (Level 3 or above).
- Proven experience in a nursery management role.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Ofsted regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Passionate about early years education and child development.
