The organisation is an Outstanding Ofsted rated nursery. The nursery provides a supportive and nurturing environment for both staff and children. The nursery is a small setting which prioritise creating a small and home-influenced environment for children to thrive in. The nursery has good transport links for both bus routes and within walking distance to the local train station. The nursery has been operating for over 30 years and is well established within the local area.Role Overview: As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the nursery. Your responsibilities will include supporting the children, using your initiative to help them succeed, and ensuring positive management of their behaviour. The nursery offers flexible working hours to suit your needs. The nursery are looking for someone that is creative and loves to paint, sing, play and dress up, as well as have a passion for creating the best environment for children to thrive in. The role would be working collaboratively with the term-time Room Supervisor in the 0-3 year-old room, with plenty of opportunity for further responsibility to support you with your career progression.Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Child Care Qualification
  • Recent experience working within a nursery, primary, or pre-prep environment
  • Clean enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to undergo one)
  • Fun personality that engages well with children
  • Good understanding of children's development and needs
  • Thorough understanding of EYFS
