Their team is passionate about fostering a supportive and stimulating environment where children can thrive. The nursery is rated 'Outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted. The nursery has excellent relationships with primary schools in the local area and works closely with them throughout children's transition into primary school. The nursery is operated by an Early Years professional and the setting prides itself on running their staffing ratio to a higher level than requirements set out.Your new roleAs a Nursery Practitioner Level 3, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment, ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Your responsibilities in the role include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that support children's development.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, ensuring developmental milestones are achieved.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, maintaining effective communication and trust.
  • Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to all safeguarding and welfare requirements.
  • Support children's social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and harmonious nursery environment.
  • Maintain a well-organised and stimulating classroom setting, with appropriate resources and materials.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • DBS on the Update Service, or permission for us to run DBS on your behalf
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children.
