Are you a passionate and experienced early years leader looking for a new challenge? We are excited to offer an opportunity to join a modern, welcoming nursery in Hove as Head of Preschool from May 2025. You will play a key role in shaping the learning environment for our preschool children, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the preschool team to deliver exceptional early years education.
  • Create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that promotes children's development and well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress.
  • Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework and nursery policies and procedures.
  • Oversee curriculum planning and ensure that learning experiences are tailored to individual needs.
  • Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a senior role within an early years setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
  • Passion for working with young children and commitment to their development.
